ETH Zurich Autumn 2027: International Window Opens 1 November

Applicants holding an international bachelor's degree should prepare for ETH Zurich's autumn 2027 master's application window from 1 to 30 November 2026. The official application calendar, checked on 29 October, gives the submission cutoff as 30 November at 11:59 am Central European Time.

The morning cutoff should not be read as midnight. Candidates should also check which window applies to their undergraduate qualification; the later April window is restricted to applicants with a Swiss bachelor's degree under the published rules.

Prepare a complete programme-specific file

Review prerequisites, academic records, language evidence and references before the portal opens. A general university checklist and a programme's specific requirements should be read together. Leave time for records offices and referees rather than assuming every document can be arranged on the closing day.

Applicants considering funding should read the official ESOP guidance as a separate checklist. Admission and scholarship selection are different decisions, and ESOP requires additional preparation.

This report is a pre-opening reminder, not a statement that the application window is already open on 29 October. Save the current calendar, verify the time zone and plan to submit ahead of the final cutoff. The exact academic course requirements remain the deciding reference for your own file.
