Commonwealth Shared 2027/28 Applications Open on 10 November
The official Commonwealth Shared Scholarships page lists 10 November 2026 as the opening date for the 2027/28 competition and 8 December 2026 at 16:00 GMT as the closing deadline. As of 2 November, the opening is still ahead.
Applicants should check the new approved-course list when it is published rather than treating an older competition's list as the final 2027 selection. University admission and scholarship applications are separate tasks.
Prepare evidence before the system opens
Use the CSC's applicant advice and current call to check the actual eligibility and document requirements. An eligible country name alone does not establish an individual's entitlement to the scholarship.
Begin with a focused course search, an accurate academic and professional record and a realistic explanation of how the study could support useful work afterwards. Ask referees early and confirm how their material must be supplied.
