UGC-NET December 2026 Correction Window Opens 2-4 November
NTA's notice dated 2 November 2026 gives registered UGC-NET December 2026 candidates a correction window from 2 to 4 November, ending at 23:50 on the final day. Corrections are permitted only in the fields specified in the annexure.
The notice says that mobile number, email, addresses, uploaded photograph and signature cannot be changed. It permits a change to only one of the candidate, father or mother name fields, and separately lists other permitted corrections. Read the annexure for the complete field-specific conditions.
Review everything before the single final submission
NTA states that only one correction submission is permitted; the form is frozen after it is submitted. Additional fees, where applicable, must be paid successfully for the relevant corrections to take effect.
Use the official UGC-NET portal to review your application and current instructions. Compare the details with your supporting records before making the final submission. Do not assume that every field is editable because a general correction window exists.
This is a correction opportunity for registered candidates, not a reopening of new registration. Keep the revised application and payment evidence securely after completing the process.
