UGC-NET Fee Extension Ended 1 November: Check the Correction Notice

NTA's 1 November fee-extension notice allowed successful fee transaction until 23:50 on 1 November 2026 for candidates who had already submitted their UGC-NET December application. That deadline has passed as of this 3 November report.

The notice did not extend new registration, form submission or image upload beyond 31 October. It should therefore not be shared as an announcement that fresh applications are still open.

Check your completed record and the next relevant instruction

Candidates should retain the application confirmation and payment evidence, and use the official UGC-NET website for current instructions. If a transaction or application status is unclear, raise the precise issue through the official help channel rather than relying on an old extension message.

NTA has separately issued a 2 November correction notice for registered candidates. Read that notice for the permitted fields and current correction deadline; it serves a different purpose from the expired payment extension.

The related correction report below explains that distinction. Keeping the two notices separate helps applicants avoid mistaking a completed administrative window for an opportunity to submit a new application.
